Who we are
Black Ivy is a private travel house registered in the United Arab Emirates. Correspondence reaches us at hello@black-ivy.com. The final notice will include our full legal name, trade license number, registered address, and the identity of our Data Protection Officer where required.
What we collect
We collect only what is necessary to correspond with you and to arrange the journeys entrusted to us. In practice this means:
- Your name, professional email and — where you volunteer it — your role or the principal you serve.
- Information you share in the course of an arrangement: preferences, dates, dietary or accessibility notes.
- Session cookies required to keep you signed in, and a cookie that remembers your chosen theme.
We do not set analytics cookies, advertising cookies or third-party trackers. No consent banner is shown because none of our cookies require one under current EU or UAE guidance.
How we use it
Your information is used to respond to your correspondence, arrange the experiences you request, maintain the private record of your membership, and — where applicable — fulfil our legal obligations as a UAE-registered business.
Who sees it
Your information is seen by the partners at Black Ivy and, when strictly necessary, by the providers delivering your arrangement (hotels, charters, guides). It is never sold, never brokered and never shared for marketing purposes.
Where it is held
Our records are held on managed infrastructure within the European Union, under the custody of Supabase and Resend. The final notice will name each processor and the legal basis for any transfer outside the EU or UAE.
Your rights
You may ask to see what we hold, correct it, or have it erased — at any time, by writing to hello@black-ivy.com. Residents of the EU, UK, or UAE retain every right afforded them under the GDPR, UK GDPR and the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021) respectively.

If this notice changes in a material way, we will tell you — by email, before the change takes effect.
